Roy Keane has admitted he is concerned Manchester United won't "spend big" this summer after signing Edinson Cavani to a new contract.
MEN Sport understands that United are focussing on a centre-back and a forward player after the Uruguayan extended his stay at Old Trafford by a further year.
United have refused to rule out moving for Jadon Sancho this summer and a deal for the Borussia Dortmund winger seems more likely given their budget.
Keane previously voiced his concern that United wouldn't sign a new striker if Cavani penned fresh terms and he believes his fears will come true.
The former United captain also reiterated he doesn't believe the squad has enough quality in depth to win a league title.

"It was always going to happen. He's obviously done very well for the club," Keane told Sky Sports.
"I worry about the bigger picture now, they might think that will be enough for the club in terms of the attacking players for next season, but I still think United need to go out and buy big if they want to go back to winning league titles.
"The group they have at the moment are still nowhere near good enough to win titles. You need a big squad of players, we've seen the best squad with Man City at the moment, they're competing.
"United's squad is not good enough at the moment, we saw that the other night against Leicester, if any time you needed proof, that was it - the back-up players weren't good enough.
" I mentioned a few weeks ago that they needed one or two, they probably need four or five players to compete with Man City."
