With winter fast approaching, outdoor retailer Anaconda has unveiled massive deals on its snow gear that's set to rival Aldi's eagerly anticipated range.

Australians looking to hit the slopes to make up for the missed snow season in 2020 can expect huge savings across quality men's, women's and children's winter range, available in a variety of assorted colours, styles and sizes.

Men and women's snow jackets and pants have been slashed to just $49, normally $79.99, while the kids range start from just $39.

Offering great value for the whole family, top deals include 40 per cent off all puffer jackets from big brands including The North Face and half price deals on all Mountain Designs thermals - including merino long sleeve tops and pants. 

There are deals of up to 30 per cent off snow footwear - including $31.99 kids ski boots and $62 on women's waterproof snow boots.

The sale runs now until Friday, June 4 and is available at all Anaconda stores across Australia or can be conveniently purchased online. 

The deals come as Aldi prepares to bring back its hugely popular snow gear sale a year after the budget supermarket cancelled the seasonal offer in 2020 amid coronavirus travel ban.

The annual winter sale has attracted huge crowds every year, with prices slashed on seasonal gear including ski jackets, pants, helmets, boots, goggles, gloves and thermals.

Set to return to shelves on Saturday, May 22, the new range has been designed to 'stand up to all extreme weather conditions' from The Alps to The Snowy Mountains.

The adults range includes six varieties of snow jackets, including $39.99 light knit jackets, $59.99 soft shell jackets and a $119.99 superior windproof, waterproof, breathable shell jackets with a removable inner jacket.

There are four varieties of snow pants for $99.99, featuring waterproof finish, pre-shaped knees, adjustable waist and leg cuffs with abrasion-resistant reinforcement.

For the youngsters, there's five varieties of snow jackets with water repellent finish, suitable for kids aged between two to 14, with prices ranging from $19.99 to $34.99.

There are two varieties of snow pants with water repellent finish for just $29.99 appropriate for ages two to 14.

Other winter items include adult and kids waterproof thermoboots with four-layer fleece lining, with prices ranging from $19.99 to $29.99, helmets from $19.99 and a range of face masks, beanies, neck warmers, socks, gloves from $4.99 to $34.99.
