Three possible scenarios for Harry Kane this summer amid Man Utd transfer talk

Harry Kane has a huge decision to make this summer as he faces another season of Europa League football with Tottenham.

Spurs have struggled since losing the Champions League final and sacking Mauricio Pochettino just months later.

Their best opportunity to win some silverware came in last month's Carabao Cup final, but Manchester City were victorious on that occasion.

The defeat left Kane with three runners-up medals in his collection, but still no trophy.

So with links to Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona all emerging ahead of the summer transfer window, here are Kane's three possible scenarios for where he will end up next season.

Staying at Tottenham under new manager

Perhaps the most likely option for Kane would be to stay at Spurs under what would be his sixth manager in north London.

Simone Inzaghi, Brendan Rodgers or Scott Parker in charge, all three will know just how crucial Kane is to the Tottenham operation.

And pastures anew might provide the Englishman with a better chance than ever to land some silverware with his boyhood club.

Of course, there is a chance that Kane and the new boss won't see eye to eye; but after a brilliant season in an under performing Jose Mourinho outfit, that doesn't seem likely.

Move to Man Utd or Chelsea

Kane has most often been linked with a move to Manchester United, who have been searching for a constant goal scorer for some time now.

However, with Timo Werner failing to make the grade, reports have become increasingly more confident that Chelsea are in fact leading the race to sign Kane.

A move across London to Chelsea would perhaps present a more logistical alternative for Kane and his family.

But were United to stump up the big bucks in order to make him part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans, the chance to play at Old Trafford would definitely have Kane considering his options.

Leaving the Premier League

The other possibility for Kane would be to leave the Premier League and the UK in search of glory on the continent.

Of course, that would mean giving up on trying to beat Alan Shearer's all-time record of Premier League goals scored, which he is now under 100 away from catching.

Barcelona have most strongly been credited with interest in Kane from outside of England, while Real Madrid are another potential suitor.

Kane said earlier this month that he wants to win the "biggest team prizes" in football, and a switch to Barcelona or Real might be his best bet.
