Kendall Jenner has opened up about her anxiety in the past, and now the model is getting deeper about her mental health in a four-part series with Vogue.

In the new video series called Open Minded, Kendall sits down with experts to talk about her experience with anxiety and mental health. In the first installment, Kendall talks with Ramani Durvasula, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist, about social anxiety, chatting about some of her own symptoms.

"I remember being really young and having shortness of breath and going to my mom and telling her that," Kendall says. "In hindsight, now I know that that was obviously anxiety."

As she grew older, Kendall says her work magnified her anxiety.

"I think being overworked and being in the situation that I'm in now is kind of what set it out of control in a way," she says. "I've had times where I feel like I need to be rushed to the hospital because I think my heart's failing, and I can't breathe, and I need someone to help me. Sometimes I think I'm dying."

Durvasula put Kendall's anxiety into perspective, saying "Anxiety is like a magnifying glass. It magnifies only the bad things-every little ping, every little this.. In essence, what we're trying to do is take that magnifying glass and put it to being a regular lens."

Kendall also goes on to talk about how people question her anxiety, wondering why someone who seemingly has it all has anything to worry about. This is a great reminder that mental health doesn't necessarily depend on someone's circumstances. It's something that can impact anyone. To watch the first episode, head here.
