  • Tesla has raised prices for the fourth time in two months.
  • These price increases are becoming a habit.
  • Now the least-expensive Tesla you can get is a $39,500 Model 3.
Once again Tesla has updated its online configurator for its Model 3 and Model Y, increasing prices across the lineups. Starting in February Tesla began changing vehicle prices, and did so again in early March, again at the end of March, and again in mid April. The changes are similar to the changes two weeks ago.

The Model 3 Standard Range Plus went from $38,990 to $39,490. The Model 3 Long Range AWD price went from $47,990 up to $48,490, and that's $2 grand more than back in March.

The Model Y Long Range AWD price went from $50,990 to $51,490.

Unlike a few weeks ago when Tesla said the price increases came with a slight interior update, the company offered no explanation for this increase on its site. Nor has its site offered an explanation on the Model S and Model X still being delayed.

The website electrek.co, quoting"sources familiar with the matter" reports that Tesla is claiming its second-quarter production is already sold out with nearly two months left in the quarter.
