Jose Mourinho may have only been appointed Roma manager for next season on Tuesday but he already has eyes on players he wants to sign.
It only took the Portuguese manager 15 days to find a new job in football after being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur last month. But the quick turnaround hasn't stopped Mourinho from making plans about how his squad will look in the 21/22 campaign.
According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho wants to bring in stars from Premier League clubs Manchester United and his former side Spurs.
On his radar are United's Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic, who have both found themselves out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. It may be easier to sign Mata as his deal for United runs out this summer but Matic is tied to the club until 2023.

And it seems Mourinho is keen to bring some Tottenham players with him to Roma as it's understood the manager wants to sign Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.
Dier and Højbjerg are said to be in red pencil in Mourinho's notebook but with their contracts running until 2024 and 2025 respectively, it will be difficult to get the Spurs stars to follow him to Italy.
The 58-year-old is taking over from Paulo Fonseca who has steered Roma to a Europa League semi-final this season, the first leg of which they lost 6-2 to United with the second leg to be played on Thursday. The club are also currently seventh in Serie A.
Mourinho has previously won the Serie A title, Champions League and several other trophies during the two seasons he was in charge of Inter Milan before he left to join Real Madrid in 2010.
The boss is excited at his new challenge and said it was Roma's fans that made him sign on the dotted line.
He said: "It is the same ambition and drive that has always motivated me and together we want to build a winning project over the upcoming years.
"The incredible passion of the Roma fans convinced me to accept the job and I cannot wait to start next season."
