We've called it - the 70s is trending in a big way, and if you're looking to get involved, you're going to need some denim to go with that. Enter Spell and Outland Denim's new capsule collection - a limited edition range featuring 70s and Western-inspired jeans, denim shirts, and more.
This isn't a one-off collaboration between the like-minded brands, which both share a strong interest in sustainability and ethical production. Spell has confirmed it will be turning to Outland Denim for future denim creations.
"We've spent the past three years mapping our supply chain, and denim has been difficult to source ethically - working with Outland, a brand which exists to eliminate exploitation, while also using less natural resources and chemicals in its Cambodian facilities - we've been introduced to an entirely new standard of supply chain transparency and responsibility," states Elizabeth Abegg, Co-Founder & Chief Brand Officer, SPELL.
The collection features five items - including a pair of wide-leg, flared 70s jeans, and a 100% organic cotton chambray shirt with Western details. Canadian tuxedo energy, here we come.

Here, the brand trains and employs young women who have experienced exploitation, providing a living wage, education, health services, and other benefits, in an effort to change their lives and have a ripple effect of positive impact through communities.
Each piece is made with 100% vegan materials, organic cotton, and no harmful chemicals.
