A guest on Channel 4 's Second Hand for 50 Grand was left in awe after finding her 'dream' vintage handbag.

Handbag lover Kristen was overcome with emotion when the show's host, Reece, found her the perfect vintage accessory for her to wear on her milestone birthday.

The Channel 4 presenter, who is Head of Handbags at Xupes, set his sights on a stunning black padded shoulder bag which featured the classic gold Chanel chain.

Kristen, who works as a nail stylist, was left gobsmacked when she laid eyes on the luxury piece which also boasted the famous Chanel interlinked C letter logo on the front of the handbag.

The handbag of Kristen's dreams ticked all of her boxes, and she was so excited about the chic handbag that she claimed that finding the perfect accessory was the equivalent to 'climaxing' for her.

"It's like the best climax you've ever had in your life. Think of that climax - that's what it feels for me getting a bag every time," she enthused.

After Kristen took some time to fawn over the classic vintage bag, she excitedly asked Reece if she could try it on for size.

"It is a dream come true. A hundred thousand percent a dream come true," she squealed as she placed the bag over her shoulder.

"I am addicted to handbags bad. It's like my drug. You feel unstoppable. Oh my god this is crazy. This is right up my alley."

Meanwhile, presenter Reece watched in glee as Kristen ogled over her 'dream' handbag.

However, it wasn't long before the Channel 4 star burst Kristen's bubble by confirming the true value of the Chanel bag.

Reece revealed the price of the vintage piece amounted to £3,499.

The jawdropping price tag left Kristen utterly stunned, but it didn't stop her from lusting over the bag as she insisted it would be 'worth every penny'.

In a bid to help viewers understand Kristen's 'obsession' with the material piece, Reece explained: "People might laugh that it's a dream to own a handbag or a watch, but it shows people it's quite serious and the level of happiness they get from purchasing that item is priceless."

It didn't take long for viewers to share their thoughts on Twitter after watching Kristen's handbag fiasco.

"I would 100% be that excited too. That bag IS a dream come true," shared one fan.

"I love Kristen in Second Hand to 50 Grand. So, what if she's overly enthusiastic about a bag, it's beautiful," another echoed.

Elsewhere, another viewer disagreed: "£3,500 for a handbag? I could never!"
