Channel 4 viewers were in tears on Monday night as they tuned into the latest episode of Baby Surgeons: Delivering Miracles.

The new documentary series focuses on the extraordinary work of the fetal medicine, neonatal and maternity units at St George's Hospital and features staff and alumni from St George's, University of London.

The second episode followed various pregnant women as they navigated the heartbreaking decision as whether or not to undergo surgery whilst still expecting.

One woman named Susie was in tears as she was told her unborn triplets were at serious risk, but the surgery needed could result in her miscarrying.
