Jerry O'Connell was seen going for a run in the hills above Calabasas on Monday.

The 47-year old appeared to be making the most of the springtime weather as he made his way along a gravel pathway before moving to the streets and sidewalks of the Los Angeles suburb.

The actor is currently getting ready for the release of Star Trek: Lower Decks' second season, which will premiere later this year.

O'Connell opted to go shirtless and show off his toned body during his solo run.

The Kangaroo Jack actor was also seen wearing a pair of green cargo shorts and a set of multicolored Nike running shoes while making his way along the trails and roads.

The performer kept the sun out of his face with a black-and-white visor and a pair of dark sunglasses.

He was not seen wearing a facial covering while spending time in public.

Last week, O'Connell posted a picture that had been taken during a trip he had recently taken with his twin daughters Dolly Rebecca and Charlie Tamara, aged 11.

The Jerry Maguire actor also placed a humorous and brief message in the post's caption that read: 'We witnessed a fight at the bowling alley. Things are getting back to normal.'

The performer shares his daughters with his wife, Rebecca Romjin, whom he married in 2007 after meeting her more than a decade before.

During a recent interview with People, the actor spoke about how he was already beginning to miss his children as they were getting ready to return to in-person classes.

He remarked, 'Very soon, when this is all over and everything's back to normal and kids are back in school all the time, I have a feeling parents are gonna be like, "Oh, it was kind of nice having my kids at home."'

O'Connell is currently prepping for the release of Star Trek: Lower Decks' second season, which is set to debut on August 12.

The animated comedy series initially premiered in August of 2020 and features the voice talents of performers such as Jack Quaid, Tawny Newsome and Eugene Cordero, among others.

The Sliders actor voices Commander Jack Ransom, a debased authority figure who serves aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos.

The show initially entered development in 2018, and the first run of episodes eventually premiered on the CBS All Access streaming service.

Wil Wheaton currently hosts an aftershow entitled The Ready Room, which partially focuses on the events of the animated series.

Star Trek: Lower Decks was renewed for a third season earlier this year, although its release date is currently unknown.
