It's hard to believe that it has been a decade since Prince William and Kate Middleton walked down the aisle. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary today (29 April). In honour of the big day, the couple released two new portraits, taken this week at Kensington Palace by the photographer Chris Floyd.

For the first photo, the Duke and Duchess hold hands while surrounded by trees and greenery. Kate is wearing a long sleeved floral blue dress from Ghost London. William sports a blue shirt and matching jumper, colour-coordinating with his wife.

In the second photo, seen below, the Duke and Duchess share a smiling embrace on the Palace grounds. Kate's sapphire engagement ring features prominently in the shot.

In 2011, the Royal wedding captivated audiences globally, as the Duchess of Cambridge walked down the aisle at Westminster Abbey. Kate wore a now-iconic Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress, paired with the Cartier Scroll tiara, lent to her by the Queen. The pair said their vows, rode in a carriage procession, waved from the Buckingham Palace balcony and then ventured to a private evening reception.

Much has happened since then. A number of other Royal weddings ensued, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, then Princess Eugenie and, last year, Princess Beatrice. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The pair have also assumed greater Royal responsibilities, as William prepares to eventually become King.

While we do not know exactly how the couple is spending their anniversary, the family has been spotted out and about in London, as their children are now attending school in-person. In fact, their youngest, Prince Louis, recently celebrated both his first day of nursery and his third birthday. Indeed, this year's anniversary may not include a large party, but it is safe to assume the Cambridges will enjoy some quality family time.
