Elton John knows how to throw a fabulous party. And his annual viewing party for the Academy Awards - usually held in Hollywood as the glittering ceremony takes place - is no exception.
Held every year since 1992, the likes of Lady Gaga, Elizabeth Taylor and RuPaul have attended his star-studded bash in the past.
"People have to go to other parties, but peoplewant to go to Elton's party," Sharon Stone told the Hollywood Reporter in 2017.
The party is held as a fundraiser for the Rocketman singer's AIDS Foundation - with money raised helping hundreds of thousands of people across the world.
But, of course, this year we're in a pandemic, so the party has followed in the footsteps of every other fabulous event held in recent months... and gone digital.
For 2021, the party will consist of an hour-long pre-show to the Oscars themselves with Olly Alexander, Cynthia Erivo, Elizabeth Hurley and David Walliams among the attendees.
Elton and husband David Furnish will be co-hosting proceedings, with actor Neil Patrick Harris. Singer Dua Lipa will be performing a "stripped back" set.

- Thai inventor builds homemade disinfectant spraying robot amid Covid-19 resurgence A Thai inventor built his own homemade robot which sprays sanitising liquid through his neighbourhood to help kill the Covid-19 pandemic. The robot can be controlled remotely within a one-kilometre range and carry 200 litres of disinfectant with a high-pressure nozzle. Mobility is provided by tracks instead of wheels allowing it to move quickly despite being in small areas with rough surfaces. Monchai Boonwong, the inventor from Nonthaburi province next to the capital Bangkok, is seen in the video sending his robot onto the street outside his home on April 21. He said: The best form of protection is social distancing and regular hand washing. But the robot helps, too. The idea was so basic because I developed it from a pesticide spraying vehicle widely used in agriculture areas. 'The robot can travel 5 km/h and overcome many obstacles, including inclines up to 45 degrees. Each spraying cover eight square metres. The disinfectants interact with viruses both on the surfaces and in the air.' Thailand has seen record Covid-19 cases in recent weeks following an outbreak linked to upmarket nightclubs and coyote bars in the capital Bangkok. Officials have put 18 provinces as 'red zones' with 59 still at risk of an increase in infections. The country has recorded 48,113 cases and 117 deaths as of April 23. Newsflare
- Thai Sin City hookers caught on camera working during Covid-19 ban as cases surge Dozens of Thai hookers were caught on camera last night (April 22) defying the country's Covid-19 entertainment ban. Footage shows the sex workers in skimpy clothes waiting for customers outside bars on a dark street in Thailand's notorious Sin City of Pattaya as cases reached a record high of 2,070 today. Locals complained that the girls were making too much noise and breaking a ban on nightlife venues operating which was introduced earlier this month amid a resurgence in Covid-19 infections. Footage shows a driver cruising down the street at night where they negotiated a romp with one of the girls for 1,200 Baht (27GBP). Speaking in the video, the woman adds: 'If you want me to spend the night with you, it's 3,500.' The driver then pulls up alongside a second girl to ask the price for 'short time', to which she replies '1,200 baht and I'll make you happy'. Dozens more hookers were seen loitering around the area waiting for customers. The girls in the video were aslo maskless and ignoring social distancing orders - raising fears they could spread the deadly virus. Footage of the sex workers appearing to be breaking Covid-19 rules was handed to police in the notorious city - best known for its round-the-clock adult nightlife - and they vowed to investigate. Police Senior Colonel Adulayaphat Taephonchayasit said: 'This is very dangerous if it's really happening. Tonight we will go there to investigate. If anybody is breaking the emergency Covid-19 laws they will be punished according to the law.' Thailand's Public Health Ministry earlier this month ordered the closure of all entertainment venues including bars, soapy massage, strip clubs, karaoke bars, theatres, and amusement parks following a rise in Covid-19 cases linked to upmarket nightclubs and coyote bars in the capital Bangkok. Restaurants also have to close early at 9pm. Thailand's pandemic situation remained serious with 18 provinces labelled as red zones and 59 still at risk of an increase in infections. The country has recorded 48,113 cases and 117 deaths as of April 23. Newsflare
