High street giant H&M is well-known for its collaborations with some of the world's biggest fashion designers. From Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang, to The Vampire's Wife and the most recent collection with Simone Rocha - which sold out in 24 hours.

So you can see why their latest collaboration with cult label lemlem has got us so excited. The womenswear brand was founded by supermodel Liya Kebede in 2017 in a bid to showcase African craftmanship and provide jobs in her native country Ethiopia.

The new lemlem x H&M collection is literally your summer wardrobe, sorted - made up of dresses, shorts, swimwear and accessories in bright shades of blue, white and pink, the collection marries together traditional handwoven materials into a range of easy-to-wear items.

The name 'lemlem' means 'to bloom' and 'flourish' and the brand is known for its sustainable, eco-conscious approach. All the pieces are made from sustainable materials, like organic linen and recycled polyester, and have a timeless feel so you can wear them over and again.

Liya says, 'I love that H&M has always been at the forefront of doing really cool collaborations. For lemlem, it's really exciting to be part of that group of collaborating brands. It's also a first for us to add jewellery as part of this collection and create a whole lemlem look. My creative direction included the campaign, too, which was so much fun and special because I got to shoot with my daughter.'

The collection launches online from 22 April, with prices ranging from £9.99 to £34.99.
