Rangers star Borna Barisic believes Celtic boss has told the "biggest joke" of the season.

The Glasgow rivals are set to face each other on Sunday with a place in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals at stake.

Rangers go into the match as Scottish Premiership champions, a 20-point lead over Celtic and unbeaten in four derbies.

Following Celtic's 6-0 win over Livingston last weekend, interim boss John Kennedy stated he felt his side were still the best in Scotland.

The Croatian international said: "It's the biggest joke I've heard this season".
