Doubts raised over claims George Floyd died because he couldn't breath

A former medical examiner has told a Minneapolis court George Floyd's heart condition and drug use contributed to his death.
Dr David Fowler, a leading forensic pathologist testifying for the defence, raised doubts over claims Floyd died because he could not breath.
Dr Fowler also speculated over whether carbon monoxide from vehicle exhaust contributed to Floyd's death.
Former police officer Derek Chauvin is facing charges of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and manslaughter after the 46-year-old died while being arrested in May last year.
