This season has been somewhat or a whirlwind for Everton fans so far.
The Toffees started the campaign with a fine run of form and found themselves top of the league and unbeaten after their first five games.
However, a quick change in results and a lack of consistency since has seen the club somewhat yoyo up and down the top half of the table.
Throughout that, the main excuse has been down to the squad just not performing to the level expected of them.
However, it may appear as that may be only a small part of the problem.
Everton fan Taylor Davies took to Twitter earlier with a damning bit of evidence that the Toffees could have somewhat of an injury crisis this season.
As you can see, 18 of Everton's first team squad have missed out this season due to injury.
Not only that, but Carlo Ancelotti's men go to Brighton tonight with just one fit central midfielder.
Ivorian midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin suffered another injury earlier today, just days after making his comeback from an achilles tendon rupture.
There is still plenty of talent and hope in the squad, however, that they will win tonight's game and take advantage of Tottenham's loss yesterday.
