With Friday night action in the Premier League, fantasy football managers are faced with another early deadline this week.

The season is nearing its climax now and with the added problem of rotation amid some huge European fixtures to consider, it's a tricky time of the year for wannabe gaffers.

With an early deadline of 6:30pm on Friday, fear not - here are a few tips to help you decide on your lineup this week...

Goalkeeper

Edouard Mendy, Chelsea £5.2m

The Blues 'keeper surprisingly leaked five against West Brom last weekend but you can almost write that off after Thiago Silva's early sending off and his side have already bounced back in the Champions League in midweek.

Defender

Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea £5.9m

Like Mendy, Azpilicueta has been part of a Chelsea defence that has been - West Brom aside - extremely solid. They have a nice run of fixtures over the next four weeks.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool £7.3m

Alexander-Arnold made a clanger defensively in midweek but has looked back to his best going forward of late and could trouble Villa.

Midfielder

Diogo Jota, Liverpool £6.9m

A much cheaper alternative to the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, the Portuguese scored twice off the bench last week proving that even if he doesn't start, he's still capable of scoring big.

Jesse Lingard, West Ham £6.3m

What more is there to say? We're all waiting for the hot-streak to stop but it's just showing no signs of slowing.

Gabriel Martinelli, Arsenal £4.9m

A bit more left field, but the Brazilian produced a lively cameo off the bench on Thursday and with Arsenal having little to play for against Sheffield United he could get more playing time at a bargain price.

Forward

Gabriel Jesus, Man City £9.2m

Along with Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling, was left on the bench for the Champions League win over Dortmund and should come in against a Leeds side who have only kept one clean sheet in five games.

Danny Ings, Southampton £8.4m

A goal and an assist on his return from injury last weekend suggest he's ready to run riot against West Brom. He could even be captain material.
