Manchester United put one foot in the EFA Europa League semi-finals on Thursday evening with a 2-0 victory against Granada.
Marcus Rashford latched onto Victor Lindelof's great ball to give the Red Devils the lead in the first half before Bruno Fernandes polished off proceedings with a 90th-minute penalty.
Whilst the goals will prove crucial in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men progressing to the last four as now seems likely, the United defence deserve huge credit for claiming a clean sheet - one of the key protagonists to that being right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The £36m-rated defender turned in an exemplary performance down the right flank as he kept on-loan Chelsea forward Kenedy quiet.
According to WhoScored, Wan-Bissaka produced a vital three tackles, as well as a further three interceptions. Meanwhile, the England man also contributed four clearances.
In all, he made an impressive 10 defensive contributions throughout the game, the most of anyone on the pitch. Only United skipper Harry Maguire could get close to that figure with nine of his own.
Despite his solid and tenacious showing, the England defender was flawless in his attempts to keep the ball out of the Red Devils' net as he avoided committing a single foul during the 90 minutes - some way lower than his season average of 0.8 per game in all competitions.
That is an example which should certainly have been followed by his teammates, with Maguire, Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay all receiving yellow cards.
Whilst Wan-Bissaka's defensive showing was eye-catching, the defender was also a vital cog in the Manchester United game plan.
He had 83 touches of the ball throughout the game, with only Maguire having more, whilst racking up a highly impressive 91.5% pass accuracy (WhoScored).
Solskjaer will certainly be delighted to have seen the performance of his defender and will hope that such form continues as the Red Devils aim to book their place in the Europa League semi-finals next week.
