Street Speed 717-who is already facing charges for the jump that damaged his TRX-just jumped a Urus over an Aventador.
Street Speed 717 is no stranger to big jumps. In January, the YouTuber posted a video of him jumping his Ram 1500 TRX over a stream. He got massive air, came down hard, and ended up doing serious damage to his then-new Ram. Then, to top it all off, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission issued him 18 criminal charges. Naturally, after all of those consequences, he decided to do basically the same thing with even higher stakes.
In his newest video, he launches a Lamborghini Urus over a parked Lamborghini Aventador. This time, there's no stream involved and the jump seems to be better-planned to not destroy the vehicle. Still, the value of the cars involved means any mistake would be ruinous. Going into the jump, he compares his situation to the astronauts about to take off: All of the math says it should work, but testing it in the real world is a different beast. I find the comparison to be a little charitable, given this group's track record of thinking things through.
But it does work. The Urus clears the Aventador by about a foot, landing smoothly. Everyone appears shocked at this. Then they proceed to do it again with a passenger. It all goes well again, with no damage at all noted in the video.
We should really stress here that back-of-the-napkin math and a dream of internet clout are not great excuses for attempting to jump your cars. As he showed before, you risk damaging the car, triggering the airbags, and injuring yourself and any bystanders. Also, you could destroy a nice Aventador.
