Liverpool are set for a busy summer transfer window as Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards hunt for additions to the side. The Reds are believed to be on the verge of losing Georginio Wijnaldum on a free, while they've been tipped to bring in a new centre-forward to provide competition for Roberto Firmino. Here are four players Liverpool could look at signing in the upcoming transfer window.

Ibrahima Konate

Liverpool are reportedly closing in on signing Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.

The Reds' centre-back problems are clear for all to see, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all sidelined.

And the signing of Konate would bolster their immediate options, while also providing them with another youngster to develop.

The 21-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and will be a long-term asset, while also being able to slot straight into the team.

Ozan Kabak

Despite moving to sign Konate, Liverpool could do a lot worse than signing Ozan Kabak on a permanent deal.

The youngster has made quite an impression while on loan, and has already proved his worth to the team.

He will apparently be available for just £18million this summer, and it would be a brilliant move for Liverpool to trigger that agreement in the loan.

Edwards and Klopp could look to move Matip on this summer given his injury history, and Kabak would be an ideal replacement.

Eduardo Camavinga

A replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum will likely be high on the agenda, with the midfielder set to move to Barcelona on a free.

One player they could set their sights on is Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga, who is about to enter into the final year of his contract.

Camavinga is regarded as one of the best young players in the world, and would be the ideal man to come in and replace Wijnaldum.

His contractual situation means he could well be available for below his value this year, and a move to Liverpool would give him the chance to shine on the big stage.

Sergio Aguero

Liverpool are reportedly eager to bring in a new centre-forward this summer to provide competition for Firmino.

And despite his allegiance to Manchester City, it might be worth them taking a look at Sergio Aguero.

The legendary striker is apparently eager to stay in the Premier League once his contract expires at the Etihad.

If they could put the rivalry between the two clubs aside, a move to Liverpool could be ideal for both parties involved.
