A woman who claimed to be Pete Davidson's wife has now been arrested for trespassing at his home.

The Saturday Night Live star was recently the subject of a fake press release, claiming he married 'childhood friend' Michelle Mootreddy.

Mootreddy was arrested Thursday, after trespassing in Davidson's Staten Island home, following Tuesday's announcement of their faux nuptials and that they founded a production company.

According to TMZ, Mootreddy slipped in through an open side door and sat at the kitchen table, before being taken into custody.

Although Davidson, 27, wasn't home at the time, one of his relatives discovered the intruder and called the police.

It comes after Mootreddy released a statement Tuesday via the production company Bodega Cats Presents, reading: 'Pete and Michelle were childhood friends prior to starting Bodega Cats Presents and are married.'

The press release included a quote from the pseudo-groom: 'I am really excited to be part of this company and help people get a start in this industry.

'I never thought I would do something like this, but I met some of my closest friends doing stand-up, so I felt this was the right thing to do to give back to my community.'

They even included his name along with hers as cofounders and co-CEOs on the website Bodega Cats, which aims 'to increase diversity & belonging in the entertainment industry by curating experiences that have a cultural & social impact.'

Davidson's lawyers issued a response via Page Six: 'Not a word of it is true. Mr. Davidson has no idea who this person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies.'
