Queen discusses science and space for British Science Week

The Queen was joined in the appearance by space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Professor Caroline Smith and the Learning Team from the Science Museum, as well as children from Thomas Jones Primary. Her Majesty was animated as she looked at images of Mars.
Her Majesty, 94, has been under some stress in recent weeks. Her 99-year-old husband has been in hospital and her grandson Prince Harry has taken part in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in which he accused the Royal Family and British press of racism.
This video is the first time the public has heard from the Queen since she released a statement addressing Harry's interview.
The short statement read: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately."

Body language expert Judi James gave her expert opinion on the Queen's latest appearance.
She said the Queen showed her resilience in the video.
"Despite all the recent dramas and pressures, as well as the on-going worries about her husband's health, the Queen manages to look fascinated and engaged during this video call, even making the other participants chuckle with her rather dry humour," Judi said.
"It is also a rather intimate view of the Queen whom we have rarely heard talking on events like this before.

"The close-ups from the cameras allow us to see and hear the humour and warmth she is always famous for and her chatty, almost gossipy style and her wide, delighted smile make her appear much younger than her years."
The expert claimed the Queen still maintains her ability to make people feel though she is interested in what they have to say.
Judi said: "It is amazing how excited the Queen still appears by the people and things she is watching on screen.
"She leans forward to signal a sense of fascination and her smile that bares both upper and lower teeth suggests a sense of excitement at the conversation and some of the experiments she is being shown.

"She might look physically frailer here, suggesting Philip's ongoing hospital stay and the fallout from the Oprah interview might have had an effect, but in terms of spirit and resilience her body language signals suggest they are as solid as usual."
The Queen got a few laughs on the call, showing her infamous sense of humour.
She discussed meeting with cosmonaut Mr Gagarin soon after his historic mission in the early 60s.
When she was asked during the video call what he was like, she made everyone laugh by replying: "Russian."

She explained he did not speak English but found the meeting fascinating.
She added: "It was very interesting to meet him, and I suppose being the first one, it was particularly fascinating."
Judi also analysed Kate and William's first outing since the bombshell interview. The couple attended a school.
She said: "Even back-to-back here the couple use intense postural echo, standing posed with feet slightly splayed and their hands clasped in front of their torsos as they chat to each of their hosts.
"This gesture suggests team Cambridge is as tight as ever, with shared thinking and a desire to create an impression of an evenly-balanced double-act."
