Sean Dyche has praised Carlo Ancelotti's work at Everton and believes Burnley are facing a "tough ask" ahead of Saturday evening's clash.

The Clarets make the trip to Goodison Park this weekend four points above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

Everton, meanwhile, are firmly in the hunt for potential European qualification at the end of the term despite recently suffering defeat at the hands of Chelsea on Monday evening.

The Burnley manager is expecting a difficult test for his side this weekend, and was full of praise for Ancelotti in calling him a "class act" ahead of the game.

Dyche told his pre-match press conference [via LancsLive ]: "The manager seems to be getting his view across.

"I don't think anyone has questioned Everton on their talent or putting a team together but it looks to me that they are becoming more effective.

"Generally speaking I think they are a good outfit and I think it will be nothing other than a tough ask.

"I think they have talent and organisation, they have a class act in their manager. I have only met him a couple of times and he has always spoken openly and wisely.

"I think he is a class act. I always try and spend even just a minute with these guys who have achieved so much in the game.

"He is finding a way and moulding to move up the table."

The reverse fixture between the two sides in December saw a 1-1 draw, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin's strike cancelling out an early opener from Robbie Brady.
