The top trim of the Model S lineup now costs $149,990.
Tesla just quietly updated the pricing on some of its models and trims. The largest change comes to the high-performance Model S Plaid+ sedan, the top of the Model S line.
Previously starting at $139,990, pricing for the long-range, tri-motor EV has climbed by $10,000 to $149,990 before any EV incentives. Additionally, pricing on the Model 3 Standard Range Plus and Model 3 Long Range AWD jumped by $500, and the Model Y Long Range AWD is up $1000.
The Model S Plaid+ is arguably the most exciting version of Tesla's flagship sedan. The automaker claims it has more than 1100 horsepower, can do 0-60 in under 1.99 seconds, and is able to drive over 520 miles on a single charge.
Deliveries of the Model S Plaid+ are expected in late 2021, according to Tesla's website.
