And while we should be happy with all the gifts the chain has already given us, you also cannot blame us for wanting more, which is why over the years, fans have clamored for other items to be added to the menu. Well, some are finally getting their wish, because Chipotle is finally adding a quesadilla to its menu...but you'll have to order it online.
Chipotle announced the addition of the quesadilla to its digital menu starting on March 11 (AKA tomorrow), and its description will definitely have you scrambling to open up the app. It's made with Monterey Jack cheese and chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, sofritas, or fajita veggies wrapped in a flour tortilla. The whole thing is then folded and pressed, cut into triangular pieces, and served in new packaging, along with three salsas or sides that are perfect for dipping. Yes, you can even choose guac, but true to form, it's EXTRA.

We've been waiting on this addition since Chipotle tested quesadillas as a digital-only menu item in summer 2020 in Cleveland and Indianapolis, and we're so glad it's finally going to be available nationwide. You may be wondering what a digital-only menu item means-essentially, you just can't walk up to the counter and order it. You'll need to make your order via the app or website, and boom, it'll be waiting for you when you get there. To incentivize you even further, Chipotle will waive your delivery fee from March 11 through March 21, when you order a quesadilla on the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com. All that cheesy goodness and you don't even have to go anywhere.
