Nikola Milenkovic has fuelled further talk of a potential move to Manchester United after admitting that Nemanja Vidic was his idol growing up.
The Fiorentina defender has been linked with a summer move away from Italy - with United one of the clubs along with Liverpool and Tottenham interested in his signature, according to Calciomercato.
And now the 23-year-old has excited United fans by revealing that his Serbian compatriot and Red Devils great Vidic was his childhood hero.

'When I was little, Serbian defender Vidic, who played for Manchester United, was my idol,' he told the club's official website, as quoted by Fiorentina.it.
'He was a very strong defender, I still watch the videos of his highlights today.'

Milenkovic is an established Serbian international with 26 caps and has already surpassed 100 appearances for Fiorentina despite being at a relatively young age.
He joined Fiorentina in 2017 for a modest fee of £4.5million from Serbian outfit Partizan and is now a crucial member of the side.
