The Celebrity Circle contestant Saffron Barker has no idea who Denise Van Outen and Duncan James are, it turns out.
Known to Strictly Come Dancing fans for her 2019 stint on the BBC ballroom competition, YouTuber Saffron is currently appearing in the Channel 4 reality series for Stand Up To Cancer.
But in tonight's premiere (March 9), upon being introduced to her fellow apartment dwellers (including Denise and Duncan) over their shared texting platform, the 20-year-old made the eyebrow-raising confession that she's not aware of either of them.

"I feel rude because I don't know who Denise or Duncan is but they probably don't have a clue who I am either!" she said from the couch.
"Aww, [Denise] looks so sweet! She's actually the same age as my mum. I actually don't know what she does..."
Over on Twitter, her admission caused some shockwaves with some of those tuning in tonight, with one viewer writing: "Saffron has seriously never heard of Duncan James or Denise Van Outen? Get in the bin!!!"
Another said: "Saffron not knowing who Denise and Duncan are makes me feel like a child genius."
