Gen.G top laner Kim "Rascal" Kwang-hee is currently leading the solo kill leaderboard globally as all regions are closing in on the spring playoffs.

With a total of 19 solo kills so far this season, Rascal is on top of the leaderboard. In general, Korean players are dominating this statistic. This is likely due to the fact that the LCK plays a best-of-three format, giving players more games to play. With that said, it also seems that the LCK as a whole is becoming more aggressive and its players are more willing to take risks in 1v1 scenarios.

Right behind Rascal are KT Rolster's Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon and Hanwha Life's mid-lane star Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon with 17 and 16 solo kills respectively. What's noticeable between the top three is that both Rascal and Doran have over 30 isolated deaths during the split, while Chovy has only died 16 times with zero teammates around him within 1500 in-game units. This means that Chovy has been much more efficient in his engagements.

Taking the fifth spot on the leaderboard is Fnatic top laner Gabriël "Bwipo" Rau with 12 solo kills. This stat is impressive because Bwipo has only played 15 games so far this split, giving him a 0.80 solo kill ratio per game. Clearly, the Fnatic top laner is deadly when left alone versus his opponents.

The only player that beats Bwipo in solo kill ratio is Vietnamese top laner Ph?m "Zeros" L?c, who is currently playing for SBTC Esports. The Vietnamese league is known for its high tempo with a lot of aggressive players. Zeros is the best example of that, as he is sitting at 12 solo kills in just 12 games. This is while his team is sitting at a 5-2 record as the third-best team in the VCS.

As the playoffs get closer, there will undoubtedly be many more solo kills, and it might be the top laners that continue to get the most given their frequent isolation on the map.
