Since the release of Aldi's new Hot Cross Bun flavoured Gin Liqueur on February 24, shoppers around Australia have revealed how they enjoy the unique spirit.
On Facebook several customers said they have been enjoying the liqueur neat over ice, but others suggested serving it with ginger ale and a slice of orange for added spice.
The limited-edition product by UK brand Manchester Drinks Co is described as a 'sensational spicy gin, infused with nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and gingers flavours'.

While enjoying the beverage on the rocks, the flavours replicate the taste of a delicious Easter hot cross bun.
Other refreshing options could include mixing the gin with sparkling wine, tonic or sparkling water with fresh citrus to form a seltzer drink.
The adults-only product is available to purchase in a 500mL bottle for only $19.99.

'We are proud of the quality and affordable products we bring customers, but also the innovative and unique range we can offer Australians - and the Hot Cross Bun Gin Liqueur is no exception,' Aldi Australia shopping expert Nicole Higgins said.
'Crafted with the traditional spices found in your favourite Easter treat, simply mix with soda, sparkling wine or serve on the rocks.'
In addition to the flavoured tipple, Aldi will release two varieties of premium Hot Cross Buns as part of its Easter range.
