Australian nutritionist Jessica Sepel has revealed her go-to healthy sandwich recipe on social media.

The Sydney JS Health founder shared an image of the chicken sandwich with her 338,000 Instagram followers to inspire others to eat nutritious meals.

The simple no-cook meal only requires six ingredients - including avocado, pickles, shredded chicken, Dijon mustard, sliced bread and tomatoes.

The sandwich takes no longer than five minutes to prepare, which is ideal for those who are time poor.

Jessica also used Vernadi seed toast, which is known to be high in protein compared to other types of bread.

'You can get from some grocery stores, Harris Farm markets or even possibly your local health food store,' Jessica wrote.

The avocado, tomato and pickle are also a great source of vitamins, such as vitamin B2 and vitamin C.
