Daisy Ridley has responded to rumours that she'll be donning the Spidey Suit in a new Spider-Woman movie.
Appearing on Friday's (March 5) episode of The Graham Norton Show, the Star Wars actress admitted that the idea she would be playing Spider-Woman in the new Sony Marvel franchise came about from a conversation that got taken out of context.
She told the host: "It's funny, I did this chat with a lovely woman and she asked me if it was true - it was the first time I'd heard of it and then the next day people kept texting me about it and it keeps being brought up."

She added: "There are a million other people who could do it, but perhaps I can will it into existence!"
Daisy does have a link to the Spider-Man franchise already thanks to her upcoming new movie role, Chaos Walking.
She's starring opposite Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, in the new dystopian adventure film, based on the first book in Patrick Ness's YA sci-fi trilogy, which is out later this month.

The film, which hasn't had brilliant first reviews from critics, is set in the not-too-distant future where all women have disappeared and the men who remain are affected by "the Noise", which puts all of their thoughts on display.
However, one day Todd (Holland) discovers Viola (Ridley) after she crash-lands on his planet and in this dangerous world, Viola's life is threatened.
The Graham Norton Show continues at 10.45 pm on Friday, March 5 on BBC One and is also available on iPlayer. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+, while Rise of Skywalker is also on Sky Cinema Premiere and NOW TV.
