Miley Cyrus signs new deal with Columbia - report

Miley Cyrus has reportedly landed a major new record deal after signing with Columbia Records.

Billboard sources claim Columbia chairman and CEO Ron Perry personally courted the Wrecking Ball star as her three-album deal with fellow Sony Music company RCA was coming to an end.

Reports suggest Perry has close links to the pop star's manager, Adam Leber, and her mother, as well as her attorney, Bill Sobel.
