Paramount is pushing the release of A Quiet Place Part II earlier after originally delaying the film's theatrical release.

John Krasinki, who wrote and directed the film, took to social media Thursday night to share that the anticipated second installment will now release on Memorial Day.

"They say good things come to those who wait. Well. I think we've waited long enough. A QUIET PLACE PART II Memorial Day," the actor wrote.

Original castmembers Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are set to return to the sequel. Series newcomers include Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

Earlier this year, Paramount delayed A Quiet Place Part II to Sept. 17 for a theatrical release, after the sequel was initially pushed from Sept. 4, 2020 to April 23, 2021.

A Quiet Place II's earlier release date replaces F9, which has been postponed from May 28 to June 25.
