If you find yourself frantically rearranging your weekly rendezvous to factor in essential Bachelor viewing, then you're surely preparing yourself for this year's ninth season.

Each year sees seemingly never-ending cocktail parties, drama-filled feuds that turn best friends against one another and rose ceremony dresses that sell out before the final credits roll. And quite frankly, we're ready for more.

While it feels as if Locky Gilbert's season concluded only weeks ago, whispers have already begun swirling around which single fella is promised to take over our TV screens-and dominate every ad break-for the majority of 2021.

As we eagerly prepare ourselves for the absurd group dates and astrology-themed arrivals, we've done the hard work for you.

Below, we've tracked down everything you need to know about The Bachelor Australia 2021-from our new leading man, Jimmy Nicholson, where the new mansion is located to the season nine release date.

WHO IS 'THE BACHELOR' AUSTRALIA IN 2021?

Australia, our new Bachelor for 2021 is here-meet Jimmy Nicholson. On March 4, Channel 10 announced that our next leading lad, and yes, it is a face that we don't know.

According to the network, the 31-year-old airline pilot is a "self-confessed romantic", who is an "intelligent and passionate go-getter who is ready to find his happily ever after, all against the magical, enchanting and captivating backdrop of the brand-new Bachelor Mansion".

On being Australia's next Bachelor, Jimmy told Channel 10, "I am a big believer in embracing any opportunity that presents itself, especially if it has the potential to change your life for the better.

"The journey ahead will be one of the most challenging experiences that I have ever undertaken, however I am very excited to meet someone that I could potentially spend the rest of my life with."

However, his not-so-familiar face shouldn't come as a surprise since the network has previously confirmed that our 2021 single will be unknown to the nation. On February 5, Channel 10 confirmed that a leading man has been chosen-but they're not quite ready to reveal his identity yet.

In an interview with TV Tonight, Channel 10's Head of Programming, Daniel Monaghan confirmed suspicions that season nine's lad will be break away from the network's penchant for famous faces, Monaghan explained, "[You don't know him yet], but you will. I think he's a fantastic get for the franchise."

While the network looks to have listened to viewers concerns over constantly opting for homegrown celebrities, it's unclear how much change we can expect to see this season.

WHERE WILL 'THE BACHELOR' AUSTRALIA BE FILMED IN 2021?

In past seasons, The Bachelor and his array of eligible women would usually set up camp in Oxford Falls, a Hamptons-inspired mansion located in Sydney's Northern Beaches, approximately 20km from the CBD. However, this year will see the crowd move to an abode a lot further away from the heart of Sydney.

According to The Daily Mail, the single lad and his lucky ladies will bunker down in a $6.3 million mansion called Le Chateau. Located in Dural, the estate features a long driveway leading to the mansion's front entrance and spacious grounds, meaning the infamous red carpet arrivals and copious, sport-driven dates can take place without concern over space.

WHO ARE THE CONTESTANTS FOR 'THE BACHELOR' AUSTRALIA 2021?

Currently, there is no word on which single ladies will be battling it out for the final rose. But of course, after countless seasons saw an astounding and disappointing lack of cultural diversity, fans are hoping that the show will welcome a wider variety of Australians-and not give us yet another season of the same faces.

In fact, Bachelorette alum Niranga Amarasinghe publicly called out the program for its casting choices, claiming its record low ratings were a result of choosing predominantly white women as contestants season after season.

Posting on his Instagram Stories, Niranga shared an image of the ratings behind each premiere of The Bachelor Australia, pointing out that Locky Gilbert's season was one of the lowest on record, which may seem surprising due to Gilbert's popularity during his stint on Survivor Australia.

Alongside a table comparing the ratings for each previous season, he wrote: "Bachelor ratings going downhill... time for more diversity?", to which he tagged former cast members Mary Viturino, Renee J Barrett and model Vakoo Kauapirura.

WHEN WILL 'THE BACHELOR' AUSTRALIA 2021 AIR?

While we're now itching to see Jimmy Nicholson's search for true love, we must practice our patience for the show's air date. Last year, Locky Gilbert's season premiered on August 12, following the third season of Bachelor In Paradise.

However, following the news that BIP will not be airing in 2021, we can only hope that The Bachelor's ninth season will air closer to July, like the seasons before.
