Gary Neville believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will soon have to make a decision about the long-term future of Dean Henderson.

The MEN understands Henderson is 'frustrated' by his lack of playing time in the Premier League and has no intention of playing second fiddle to David de Gea again next season.

Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham United have expressed interest in Henderson but United value the goalkeeper at £40million as the 23-year-old is contracted to the club until 2025.

De Gea 's position as the first-choice goalkeeper has come under increasing scrutiny and with Henderson named in the starting XI against Crystal Palace, with the Spaniard unavailable due to personal reasons, Neville believes United will soon have to decide on Henderson's long-term future.

"I always thought when I played for United that the number one spot would probably be the most scrutinised position in English football and Dean Henderson's chances are coming more and more," Neville told Sky Sports.

"You'd think in the next few months that the day of reckoning will come when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will decide whether he is the Manchester United number one of the future."

Speaking about Henderson prior to kick-off, Solskjaer said:  "Let's hope he performs as well as he's done all season, he gets his chance now, he's been waiting patiently and working really hard and he's ready to grab his opportunity."
