Canelo Alvarez stopped Avni Yildirim after three rounds to retain his super middleweight titles Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Alvarez (55-1-2, 37 KOs) put Yildirm (21-3, 12 KOs) down in the third and final round.
The Mexican star will face fellow beltholder Billy Joe Saunders on May 8, it was announced after the fight.
