Emily Atack was the guest on this weekend's Saturday Kitchen, one week on from Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt's 'rude and obnoxious' stint on the show.

The actress, 31, cooked prawns and drank rosé wine as she filmed for the BBC One show, saying that she had a 'joyous' time following last week's show which saw the controversial guests trigger over 100 complaints.

She beamed at cameras and waved, having detailed the appearance on her Instagram and gushed over having fun with host Matt Tebbutt.

The TV personality paired the statement suit with a black leather jacket and black high heels and casually slung a handbag over her body.

She greeted onlookers with a wave as she kept her face hidden behind a pair of sunglasses and let her blonde hair fall in loose waves around her shoulders.

Emily cooked up a storm on the food show with a delicious dish of sugar-cured prawns, hot and sour pineapple and sweet potato crisps.

The dish was paired with a 2019 bottle of Bandol Rosé, which the actress hinted that she thoroughly enjoyed on the show, comparing it to 'morning holiday drinking' with 'zero judgement'.

Taking to her Instagram, Emily shared her behind-the-scenes view of the impressive drinks on offer on set as well as a closer glimpse of her outfit.

She panned her camera around showing a table of different size glasses filled with alcoholic beverages from beer to wine to gin and tonic, captioning the video: 'How's your morning?'

She also shared pictures of her matching trouser suit in an Instagram post on Saturday to give fans a closer look at her stylish ensemble.

The Celebrity Juice panelist looked stunning as she posed with one hand on her hip and a natural smile.

She gushed about the 'joyous' time she had on the show, writing: 'Joyous morning at @saturday.kitchen..

'It's like morning holiday drinking. Zero judgment of cracking on with the rosé at 10am and everyone's having a smashing time. REMEMBER THOSE DAYS'

This comes after the cookery programme came under fire after two controversial celeb guests triggered over 100 complaints.

Naga and Charlie were called out for their 'obnoxious, rude and self-absorbed' appearance on Saturday Kitchen last weekend.

The BBC Breakfast journalists, aged 46 and 58 respectively, were guest stars on the cookery show, which is presented by Matt Tebbutt and featured guest chef Yotam Ottolenghi.

Filming descended into chaos when the pair were accused of rudeness and 'appallingly cringeworthy' behaviour, with more than 100 viewers lodging official complaints.

Twitter was flooded with angry comments, leading to the BBC releasing a statement noting the 'relaxed' nature of the weekend show.

During the show, Matt asked the duo how they 'turn off' from the news due to the upsetting bulletins they deliver everyday, however Naga and Charlie responded with jeers about the 'depressing' nature of the question.

Naga spoke into the camera to say: 'If you want to switch off the news, don't watch Saturday Kitchen', while Charlie forced Matt to show his questions.

The two then sat mocking his pre-prepared questions, leaving Matt begging the duo to concentrate due to the pressing time limits on the live show.

Continuing to read from his cue card, Naga said: 'This is where Matt's mind goes when he's preparing his questions - "Any stand out moments"', she went on to make a crude snoring sound and roll her eyes.

It has been revealed that six days on, over 100 complaints have been lodged.

A statement from the BBC reads: 'Saturday Kitchen Live's format allows for an informal chatty style and the guests are encouraged to feel relaxed in the studio...

'Some viewers found the behaviour and comments of the guests this week to be inappropriate and that they were rude to presenter Matt.

'We appreciate the feedback and we shared it with the Saturday Kitchen team.'

MailOnline has contacted representative for Naga and Charlie for comment.
