Victoria's coronavirus rules will be relaxed from 11.59pm on Friday, despite two new locally acquired cases of COVID-19.

The new freedoms come a week and a half after the end of Victoria's last lockdown, which lasted five days.

Premier Daniel Andrews has stuck to the timeline he gave when he ended that lockdown, citing February 26 as the next stage of easing.

The Department of Health said both new cases were primary contacts of pre-existing cases and have been quarantining during their infectious period.

The latest settings resemble the rules that were in place in Victoria in December.

Below you'll find a list of what we know about the new rules, when they will apply and what they mean. Please check back regularly as this story will be updated to reflect new information.
