Gordon Ramsay's new BBC quiz show did not go down well with viewers this evening as they mocked its odd set, likening it to a TARDIS.
The celebrity chef, 54, returned to TV this evening for its unusual format which has been likened to a mix of Pointless and The Cube.
But fans were instantly baffled by the show's format, which saw a pair of contestants answer various questions so that they can place stacks of gold bars on a Balance Board.
The more bars they were able to build up, the more they were be able to win - which can escalate to a prize pot of £100,000.

But fans were not impressed by its unusual futuristic set and flocked to Twitter to comment.
One tweeted: "#bankbalance is awful. Not even GR can make this bearable. Definitely filmed inside the TARDIS and the categories must be word art from 1998."
While another commented: "Great new Tardis! Didn't know @GordonRamsay had become new Doctor Who #BankBalance."

"The set looks like the tardis after a gas explosion," another tweeted.
One commented: "Just tuned into #BankBalance and the set looks like a TARDIS."
Another asked: "#BankBalance where'd they get the set, from David Tennant's TARDIS?"
