An NBA 2K player lost a Finals Game 7 with the most improbable, heartbreaking shot
© Provided by For The Win If you're a gamer of a certain age (OK, fine, we're talking about me), you'll recall playing NBA Jam and losing to the computer because Ron Harper hit an underhanded three-quarters shot to win by one. You'd smack the joystick at the arcade and scream unprintable things at the machine.
That's how I imagine this NBA 2K user must have felt. Someone with the Twitter handle @LVD___ posted a clip of playing as the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 7 of the Finals against the Utah Jazz. Joel Embiid hits a dunk with 2.5 seconds left to give the Sixers the lead.
Then? Virtual Jordan Clarkson does this:
That's break-your-TV-screen level heartbreak. Ugh. Sorry.

- Danny Ainge reveals Jaylen Brown has tendonitis - should we be worried? Celtics team president Danny Ainge shared that star forward Jaylen Brown has been dealing with tendinitis in his knee for some time. This set off alarm bells with Celtics fans already dejected from losing three of the team's five games in their annual West Coast road trip - but should it?. We're concerned. Jaylen has tendonitis in his knee. I played 14 years with tendonitis in my knee, it flares up, it just comes and goes, Danny Ainge said on Toucher and Rich. While it should be stressed this is by no means good news, it's also not necessarily dire news, either CelticsWire

- Kevin Garnett doubts his generation could play in today's NBA Former Celtics champion big man Kevin Garnett doesn't think he would be able to play in today's NBA - or anyone from his generation of players, for that matter. Interviewed earlier this week in the New York Times, KG shared his doubts about his fit in the contemporary game. I don't think guys from 20 years ago could play this game, Kevin Garnett told The New York Times. Twenty years ago, guys used their hands to control players. Now you can't use your hands. That makes defense damn near impossible, Kevin Garnett told The New York Times. Can you imagine not hand-checking Michael Jordan? Naw. The fact that you can't touch players gives the offensive player so much flexibility, Kevin Garnett told The New York Times CelticsWire
