Cadbury is set to release Caramilk baking chips

For a limited time Australian and New Zealand shoppers will be able to get their hands on packets of Cadbury Caramilk Baking Chips.

In Australia the product will be available to purchase from Coles on March 1 and from Woolworths on March 8.

The caramelised white chocolate chips will be the perfect addition to add to cookies and desserts. 

A standard bag of Cadbury baking chips are sold in a 200g packet, but the Caramilk Baking Chips will be available in a 260g bag for $6.

The new special edition buy will be available for 12 months after launching across leading supermarkets nationally.

The baking chips contain full cream milk, sugar, cocoa butter, milk solids and flavouring, but may also contain nuts.

Paul Chatfield Senior Marketing Director for Cadbury Australia said: 'We have seen how creative Cadbury Caramilk fans have been with the Cadbury Caramilk chocolate block, and we can't wait to see all of the fantastic recipes that will be created with our new baking product.'

'We've been amazed by some of the mind-boggling baked goods created by Cadbury Caramilk fans since the block returned to shelves, and we've heard all of those asking us to release Cadbury Caramilk in a baking-ready format,' he said.

'We are so inspired by their passion and creativity, so we're extremely excited to be bringing this new product to shelves.'

The product can be used to bake an array of dessert including cookies, brownies, banana or chocolate chip bread and tarts.
