An Ohio inmate who escaped for the second time in late December was found and arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Hobert Roark, 40, was being held at the Brown County Jail when he broke a compound window and fled on Dec. 29, the sheriff's office previously announced.
Ten law enforcement agencies collaborated in a five-week search before tracking Roark to Portsmouth around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at his girlfriend's house, where he had been hiding in her basement.
Roark was arrested "without incident," according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
