WA schools and offices reopen after five-day snap lockdown

Western Australian students and workers will return to schools and the office respectively as Perth and the surrounding regions reopen after a five-day snap lockdown.
© Provided by Sky News Australia The shut-down was imposed by Premier Mark McGowan after a hotel quarantine worker tested positive to the virus after visiting a number of locations across Perth.
Estimates forecast the lockdown will cost the local economy $500,000 but Mr McGowan has defended his decision and continues to back border closures.
No new cases were recorded after the quarantine worker tested positive.
