Since we can totally relate to her there, we can't get over the iconic video she put together for Ina's birthday this year.
Ina turned 73 on Tuesday and to mark the occasion, Jennifer posted a happy birthday post on her Instagram, but it wasn't just a simple message. No, it was a mash-up of all of the times that she has mentioned Ina on her Pretend Cooking Show and spoiler alert, it's a lot! In the video, Jenn can be seen admiring the way Ina nonchalantly minces garlic, noting that Ina believes that"vanilla makes chocolate taste more like chocolate," and even wishing Ina a Happy Thanksgiving via a crafted paper turkey.
But the sweetest moment of the video comes when Jenn actually got to come (virtually!) face to face with Ina when the Barefoot Contessa herself appeared on her Instagram show and told her that she would"always be available as a cooking consultant." Of course, this wasn't the first time the two interacted. They met up in 2018 at Ina's home in New York and seemed to have remained close ever since.
"I promise I'm not obsessed with you, @inagarten ????. But if today happens to be your birthday-I really really hope it's a good one," Jenn captioned her most recent post.
"O. M. G. That's the BEST birthday present!! Looking forward to when this pandemic is over and we can cook together again!! Love you so much!!" Ina replied in a comment.
