Your laundry basket isn't just for laundry anymore thanks to a mind-blowing hack some grocery shoppers came up with and posted to social media. (Related: 100 Unhealthiest Foods on the Planet.)

Nobody likes bringing a bunch of bags from the store to the car and then from there to the kitchen. With this in mind, TikTok user @1980sgamer explains their grocery hack that is also environmentally friendly-using laundry baskets instead of plastic, paper, or reusable bags.

The video has over 13 million views and outlines how to put everything in the cart and checkout conveyor belt like normal but then transfer it to the larger and reusable baskets (that also have handles!). With a full cart, @1980sgamer used two standard laundry baskets.

This helps with carrying everything, but it also keeps it from flopping around in the car on the drive home. The full hack can be done at stores like Aldi that don't bag your groceries as you checkout. But, it is equally handy for transferring all your bags inside.

Getting in and out of the store quickly gives you time for other things. But right now, as the coronavirus and its variants continue to spread, it is also safer. We talked to experts to find out the best ways to get in and out amid faster COVID-19 spread.
