Tottenham are discussing whether to allow Japhet Tanganga to leave on loan to West Brom.
The 21-year defender was an unused substitute in Sunday's 1-0 defeat against Brighton despite Jose Mourinho shuffling his back line and starting with three centre backs.
Mourinho is unsure about allowing the England U20 international to leave as he may need him as cover but Tanganga is keen to play regularly and gain vital experience which he believes he will gain at West Brom.

Tanganga, who broke onto the scene in north London last term, has only played seven times this season in all competitions for Tottenham, having not yet featured for the club in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce will bring in midfielder Okay Yokuslu from Celta Vigo on Monday but has resigned himself to missing out on Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Allardyce is desperate to reinforce his squad with the club's status in the Premier League under massive threat this season.
West Brom, who drew with fellow strugglers Fulham 2-2 on Saturday, currently sit 19th in the Premier League - nine points off safety with just 17 matches remaining.
