A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after woman, aged in her 40s, was found dead with 'significant injuries' in a Milton Keynes house.
The 46-year-old man is in custody, Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Unit said on Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called around 10.10am this morning to the house in Emerson Valley, Milton Keynes.
The deceased and injured woman was found at the address in the leafy suburb. The house sits down a quite close, around three miles from the city centre and less than two miles from Bletchley.

Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A scene watch is in place while enquiries are ongoing, with officers going house-to-house as they investigate the tragic incident.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Superintendent Justin Fletcher of Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Unit, said:
'We have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman.
'Our thoughts remain with her family at this difficult time.
'We are in the very early stages of our investigation.
