Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene - who's already under fire for promoting violent conspiracy theories - landed in new hot water Friday as one of her Democratic colleagues revealed she recently switched offices because the beleaguered Georgia Republican made her fear for her "health" and "safety."

Rep. Cori Bush, a progressive Democrat from Missouri, said she made the office swap because Greene "berated" her without a face mask on in the hallway outside their respective staff quarters on Jan. 13.

"This took place one day after multiple of my House colleagues announced they had tested positive for COVID-19 after being in a room with Taylor Greene during the white supremacist attack on the Capitol," Bush said in a statement.

But Taylor Greene claimed Bush accosted her - not the other way around.

"She is lying to you. She berated me. Maybe Rep. Bush didn't realize I was live on video, but I have the receipts," Taylor Greene tweeted along with a video of the encounter.

The video showed Taylor Greene - her mask pulled below her chin - walking through a corridor talking loudly into her phone about it being "hypocritical" for Democrats to impeach former President Donald Trump over his incitement of the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol when they "cheered on" Black Lives Matter "riots" last year.

Midway through Greene's on-camera rant, Bush can be heard in the background yelling out, "Put on a mask!"

Taylor Greene is then seen putting on her mask before shouting back at Bush: "Don't yell at people! You know what, you shouldn't bring COVID-positive members in here spreading COVID everywhere. Stop being a hypocrite!"

It's unclear what Greene meant by accusing Bush of bringing coronavirus patients into the Capitol, and the Georgia congresswoman's office did not return a request for comment.

Just before Taylor Greene erupts in the video, one of her staffers can be heard snapping at Bush: "Stop inciting violence with Black Lives Matter."

Bush, who is Black, said the hallway quarrel, coupled with recent revelations about Taylor Greene's statements on social media, influenced her decision to move offices.

"In the context of Taylor Greene's repeated endorsements of executing Democratic politicians before taking office, Taylor Greene's renewed, repeated antagonization of the movement for Black lives in the last month directed towards me personally is cause for serious concern," Bush said. "All of this led to my decision to move my office away from Taylor Greene's for the safety of my team."

Word of the hallway clash comes amid mounting calls for Taylor Greene to be expelled from Congress after shocking comments she made on Facebook a few years ago resurfaced this week.

With likes, posts and videos in 2018 and 2019, Greene indicated and voiced support for executing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., hanging former President Barack Obama and assassinating FBI agents for being part of "the deep state." The 46-year-old Republican, who has promoted QAnon and other deranged far-right conspiracy theories, also posted baseless messages claiming teenage victims of school shootings were "actors."

After Greene's latest social media spat with Bush, Rep. Jimmy Gomez, D-Calif., announced that his resolution to expel Greene has garnered 44 co-sponsors.

"They understand that she's not only a threat to House staff and her colleagues, but to the very integrity of our democracy," Gomez tweeted. "Her conduct merits her immediate expulsion."

The House is expected to vote on Gomez's resolution next week.
