Celtic are thought to be in 'advanced talks' with Sheffield Wednesday's Liam Shaw.
That's according to an exclusive report from Football Insider, who claim that the Hoops are 'well placed' to seal pre-contract terms with the 19-year-old after negotiations in the last 36 hours.
Shaw, primarily a central midfielder, has also turned out at centre-back in the Championship this season. He's made 12 appearances in all competitions and has just five months left on his current deal at Hillsborough.

The club are thought to be looking at UK-based prospects on pre-contract deals, or for a nominal fee, a category Shaw certainly falls into.
Sheffield Wednesday coach Andy Holdsworth praised Shaw earlier this month, saying:
"He's aggressive in everything he does. He knows how to play and is a good lad. He wants to work, learn and listen all the time to get better."
His versatility could also be useful at Parkhead. It seems as if he's comfortable with providing cover in defence, but with Olivier Ntcham linked with a Parkhead exit, Shaw may turn out to be the Frenchman's long-term replacement.
It appears as if talks are progressing well, and in years to come, the Hoops could look back at a deal for Shaw as a great piece of business, providing he develops even further in Glasgow.
