Jose Mourinho says he "expects" Dele Alli to stay at Tottenham despite Paris Saint Germain's attempts to sign him.
PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino is pushing hard to do a loan deal in this window with the ex-Tottenham manager keen to link up with Alli again.
But Mourinho played down the chances of Alli leaving despite the England midfielder falling down the pecking order at White Hart Lane this season.
Tottenham boss Mourinho said: "I expect (him to still be here). I'm saying that since the beginning of the transfer window. I was not expecting anyone to leave, I was not expecting anyone to come.

"Football is football, the transfer window is open. Sometimes unexpected things can happen but I don't expect it.
"Until now, January 27, we're almost in the end. I don't believe anything is going to happen but it's open still."
That would be a blow for Alli to be stuck at Tottenham if his game time remains limited as he is keen to move if it means getting a fresh chance.
Alli is running out of time to push his claims for an England recall ahead of next summer's Euros.
It is believed Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has reservations about loaning Alli and the decision will rest with him.
Meanwhile ahead of Spurs' clash with Liverpool on Thursday Mourinho said of the Reds' recent struggles: "When you win once you know you have the team to win it twice.

"When you never win it you have always the question mark what do we need to win it and we are not good enough to win it, what do we need to improve to win it.
"When you win it you know you are the best team and Liverpool was not just about winning, it was about winning so comfortably. So they know the team they are and they know the players they have. And they know they can do it again."
